Minimum Requirements for PC

To begin using your Team Essentials CD-ROM:

Windows®

  1. Double click on the My Computer icon.
  2. Double click on your CD-ROM icon (Drive “D:”).
  3. In that window, double click on “Team Essentials.exe”

Macintosh® (OS X)

  1. Double click the Team Essentials CD icon.
  2. Double click on “Team Essentials OS X”

Troubleshooting

Video

If the video on the Team Essentials CD-ROM is not displaying properly, make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements.

If your computer meets the minimum system requirements and the video is still not displaying correctly, click on the Team Essentials Wizard link in the Help section of the Team Essentials CD-ROM. Here you can be check that the necessary components are installed correctly, and make changes as necessary.

Audio

If you can't hear audio when playing your Team Essentials CD-ROM, make sure you have a sound card installed on your computer.

Also, make sure your audio is not muted and that the volume is turned up.

Print

If you can't print the instructions for the activities, make sure your printer is turned on and click the print icon again. NOTE: Team Essentials will open the PDF document and allow you to manually print from this screen. The PRINT function will automatically send the document to you default printer. You may also open and print the “Activity.pdf” file located on the Team Essentials CD.

Error Messages

If you get error messages when you play your Team Essentials CD-ROM, check the packaging or the SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS section of this “README” file to make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements.

If you still get error messages when you play your Team Essentials CD-ROM, make sure you have no other applications running then restart your computer and start the CD-ROM again.

FAQ

Why can’t I see the video?

If the video on the Team Essentials CD-ROM is not displaying properly, check to make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements. Additionally, viewing video requires a media player such as QuickTime Player, Windows Media Player or Real Player.

Also, make sure that your monitor resolution is set to 800 x 600 and your colors are set to “Thousands” (MAC) or “High Color” (PC).

Why can’t I hear audio?

If you can’t hear audio when playing your Team Essentials CD-ROM, make sure your audio is not muted and that the volume is turned up.

Check to see if your printer is turned on. You may also open and print the “Activity.pdf” file located on the Team Essentials CD.
