Carolyn R. Weisenberger, BS, LPN, is a facilitator, trainer and Appreciative Inquiry consultant, who has worked with hundreds of corporations, community organizations and schools to develop individual and organizational excellence. Carolyn brings 28 years of facilitating wellness and growth for others; 22 of those years have been in the field of experiential learning. She co-designed and patented Mobile Team Challenge; an innovative, high performance portable low ropes course and winner of the Creativity Award from the Association for Experiential Education. In 1999 Carolyn and Cheri Torres designed the Appreciative Facilitation training for their ropes course packages. Carolyn uses the integration of Appreciative Inquiry, other strength-based tools, and experiential education as a dynamic method for helping clients move forward with motivation toward their vision and goals. She co-authored Beyond Conflict: A Strengths-Based Approach to Conflict Resolution and The MTC Low Ropes Course Facilitator’s Manual. Some of her clients include SunMicro Systems, The Tennessee Board of Regents, the US Forest Service, The Spectrum Centre in Belfast, the Federal Highway Administration, Federal Express, the US National Guard, Helen Ross McNabb Center, Gallo Wine, and the Environmental Protection Agency. Carolyn was a charter co-owner (now an associate) of Appreciative Inquiry Consulting, LLC and a member of Association for Experiential Education, American Society of Training & Development, and Association for Challenge Course Technology.
